Housed in a charming, brick schoolhouse along the Minnesota River, this new addition to New Ulm’s arsenal of attractions will captivate you with displays that show the role of the Minnesota River to New Ulm.

A wide range of fishing gear, displays on the harvesting of clam-shells for buttons, interesting wild-life artifacts, photos of river recreation, and proud fishermen with their “catches” are all displayed for you to enjoy. A special computer link to the Minnesota River Basin Data Center allows access to a wide array of other river information.
