Throw On Your Lederhosen: Minnesota’s Surprising German Hub.  New Ulm has been featured on iExplore.com, a site that has been named “Best Adventure Travel Website” by Forbes Magazine for seven years straight.  Some of the photos from the article are not New Ulm photos – for example, we would never serve Paulaner beer at one of our festivals when we have August Schell Brewing Company, a brewery making German craft beer since 1860, right here in our town!  But there are lots of points made by the author that are spot on!  Yes, we do encourage you to wear lederhosen and dirndls to our festivals, and they nearly all feature polka music and German food!  You can get sauerkraut and a cuckoo clock any day of the week here, year round!  Come visit and see how Germans Have More Fun!
