New Ulm was recently named one of the best Oktoberfests in America by Food&Wine Magazine! Food&Wine has nearly one million subscribers and has over 2 million Facebook followers. Although New Ulm is a small town, we ranked with big cities like Denver, Nashville, Austin, and Milwaukee. With events taking place at locations all around town, we Germans know how to throw a party the right way! 

Come to New Ulm to see what all the fuss is about! The event takes place October 6-7, and 13-14. The main locations for Oktoberfest in 2017 are Historic Downtown, Best Western Plus, Morgan Creek Vineyards and Schell’s Brewery! Food&Wine described us as, “one of the most authentic-feeling fests in the country,” because of our strong German heritage. Whether you come for the music, the beer, or the food, there is something for everyone at Oktoberfest!
