#2 George’s Fine Steaks & Spirits
Do you want to treat yourself for dinner?! George’s Fine Steaks & Spirits is the place to do just that! Try their steaks, prime rib, baby back ribs, seafood, chicken or pasta, and you won’t be disappointed! They are located right in Downtown New Ulm and are open at 4 p.m. Monday-Friday. #1 Lola-An American Bistro– Coming in at #1 on their list is Lola-An American Bistro! Lola’s prides themselves as being the best coffee shop on the block. But they are NOT your average coffee shop, they also serve an awesome breakfast, lunch, and, on the right days, dinner, but don’t forget about their assortment of pastries and baked goods! You have GOT to try one of their pot pies! The restaurant is open Monday through Saturday at 7 a.m., closing at 5:30 p.m. except for Thursday through Saturday where they are open until 9 p.m. for dinner service in the evenings. Their Sunday hours are 9am – 2pm. In addition to a restaurant, Lola – An American Bistro also owns and operates a food truck, runs a kitchen and bar in The Grand Kabaret just down the street, and offers catering services for all kinds of events in the area.
