Travel blogger, Katy Flint recently traveled to New Ulm for a weekend getaway and revealed the top 5 things she did! Katy is a travel blogger based out of Northern Iowa, who travels the country sharing her experiences with her followers!

First on her list is German Park to see the fountain, which she praised for being so clean, and the gardens. Next was New Ulm staple, Hermann Monument. She said it’s definitely worth the $3.00! Then, she lists Schell’s Brewery, where she walked through the museum, took the guided tour, wandered the gardens, and shopped in the gift shop. Next, to relax, she says Morgan Creek Vineyards is the place to go! She enjoyed a flight and munched on some wonderful appetizers and said the pesto was the best she had had in her life!! Last on her list is the Harkin Store, a hidden gem in New Ulm! Truly a piece of living history, the Harkin Store is a wonderful learning opportunity and you can even get some shopping in! 

She also lists a few other things worth checking out: the popcorn wagon, the Backerei, Best Western Plus, and the New Ulm Convention and Visitor’s Bureau!
