Travel blogger Amber Hiltunen recently posted another blog from her visit to New Ulm. She tells about her favorite spots, what she loves about them and makes suggestions for a “must try”. Some of her favorite places she mentions include Schell’s Brewery, Turner Hall, The Grand Kabaret and Morgan Creek. She was bummed that they didn’t get an opportunity to check out The Retz 227, New Ulm’s very own speakeasy, as she said it was a recommendation from several locals and described most of the bars as dive bars, where you walk in and are looked at as unknown (not local), but are soon among friends!
