Willkommen visits Enterprise North!

Willkommen committee, of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce, recently welcomed Dana O’Brien, Michele Drahota and Enterprise North to the Chamber business community. Enterprise North joined the Chamber in 2019 but, due to COVID we were unable to visit. Dana is the executive director and oversees most of the programming and daily operations of Enterprise North. Michele Drahota is the Assistant Director and site manager for the Enterprise North location. Enterprise North specializes in helping individuals who have disabilities by achieving independence. They have multiple services that they offer. Some of those services include in-house programs for adults and seniors, community leisure, daily skills training, in-house light assembly and community based work. Dana stressed that Enterprise North is about providing individuals with skill development and building their social capacity. You may be familiar with Enterprise North’s fire starter kits and dog beds (available in 5 sizes, small to XX-Large). These products are made by some of their fantastic clients. They use recycled wax from loose candle wax (no glass please) that are donated by community members. The dog beds come in various sizes and are stuffed with reused stuffing from various pillows. Enterprise North always welcomes donations of loose candle wax (no glass please), toilet paper rolls and gently used pillows or stuffed animals for these production uses. You can find more information about Enterprise North’s website at www.enterprisenorthinc.com. Welcome to the Chamber of Commerce Enterprise North, Dana and Michele!
