The Willkommen Committee recently welcomed River Valley Dutchmen Snowmobile Club (RVDSC) as a new member of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce. Started in 1971, the club has over 100 members. Along with maintaining 200 miles of trails in the area, the RVDSC puts on multiple events yearly including a Hill Climb at Golden Gate, a raffle, a Fun Run, and the occasional club ride throughout their trail system. They have a building in Essig where they hold their meetings every other Thursday and house their trail groomer, which is a great location to connect the New Ulm trails to the Sleepy Eye trails.
