Get ready to dig, spike, and dive at the 2nd Annual New Ulm Spikin’ in the Street Sand Volleyball Tournament – right in the heart of our historic downtown! On August 2-3, 2024, the streets of New Ulm will be transformed into a thrilling beach volleyball arena, where teams from all over the region will compete for glory and bragging rights. This action-packed event is set to become a summer highlight, bringing together athletes, sports enthusiasts, and community members of all ages. Last year 600 tons of sand (38 dump trucks!) were brought in to transform the street – this year we are expanding into a second block and adding two additional courts!
 
The tournament itself will be on Saturday only but come down on Friday evening for a chance to hang out in the sand (more details on fun Friday festivities to come!).
