A year ago, the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce teamed up with Citizens Bank Minnesota to launch a new partnership. This collaboration provides the Chamber with a unique fundraising opportunity, and offers the community an easy way to stay informed about local events. Thanks to Citizens generous offer to use their message center sign on Broadway for advertising, the Chamber successfully raised $1,800 in non-dues revenue in the first year of this partnership! Thank you, Citizens for your generosity. The Chamber is thrilled to support our local organizations and businesses through this initiative, and we deeply appreciate Citizens for their invaluable partnership.
We can help you spread the word about your event or your message. The sign is a two-sided full-color digital sign in a great location – right on Broadway! On average, around 16,000 vehicles pass the sign each day! While there are some limitations, messages will be in full color, can include text, logos, photos, or video, and The Chamber will do all the design work to help communicate your event details to the community.

For sign consideration, all events/promotions must be submitted the following ways:
Chamber Members
- Call the Chamber office at 507-233-4300, invoice will follow
- Email: chamber@newulm.com, invoice will follow
- Submit in-person at the Chamber office with payment upon submittal
- Call Citizens at 507-354-3165, Marketing Department, invoice will follow
- Submit in-person at Citizens, Marketing Department, New Ulm location, payment upon submittal
Non-Chamber Members
- Submit in-person at the Chamber office with payment upon submittal
- Submit in-person at Citizens, Marketing Department, New Ulm location, payment upon submittal
*Messages must be of broad community interest. Citizens and/or the Chamber of Commerce reserve the right to deny any messages. Personal congratulatory messages are also allowed – see below for more info.
MESSAGES CENTER CHARGES:
All payments should be made with cash or check made to New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce. Credit card payments will incur a 4% fee.
Nonprofits:
- $25 Chamber Members
- $45 Non-members
Businesses:
- $45 Chamber Members
- $75 Non-members
Personal congratulatory messages (birthday, anniversary, etc.) will be charged $50 and will run for one full day.
