The Willkommen Committee recently welcomed Music for a Mission as a new member of the New Ulm Chamber of Commerce.  Music for a Mission is a non-profit organization that hosts musical events in order to raise money for other local non-profits with missions similar to their own of helping children, families, private education, and community.

Music for a Mission is hosting its second annual Party by the Pond on Saturday, August 24, 2024, located at THE SHOP, 4 Somsen Street in New Ulm.  The Party will be from 2-11pm, featuring Chris Bertrand, Mason Dixon Line, and IV Play.  They will have a kids’ area with games, a shuttle to drive people to the party (call to have them pick you up), multiple food vendors with specialty items, a full bar, and a VIP section.  As Director Amy Zinniel says, “We love putting on a good party.”  There will be fun for all ages.

General admission and VIP tickets are available on their website and at the Chamber office.  Funds from this event have not yet been designated, so if you are a local non-profit, visit their website musicforamission.org or partybythepond.com to apply. Thank you, Music for a Mission, for your investment in New Ulm and for choosing to join the Chamber!
