The Willkommen Committee recently visited Big Ideas USA to celebrate their new simulation trailer.  Big Ideas is a non-profit that travels across Minnesota, Iowa, and South Dakota to conventions, fairs, and schools using simulators to teach people about different career paths while letting them get a feel for the jobs and checking their comprehension and compatibility for each.  Adding this second trailer means that they can reach more students and introduce the trades to more people. Their new trailer has simulators for carpentry, welding, and excavation.  They each have tons of different settings which allow people to test in several situations at varying levels of difficulty.  These give people a chance to try a potential career that they might not have had the opportunity to try otherwise in a stress-free environment.  As they say, “it’s better to try something and not like it than never try it at all and regret it.”

Located at 23 S Minnesota, if you’re interested in learning more, you can visit their website www.bigideasusa.org or call 866-992-4443.  Thank you, Big Ideas USA, for your continued investment in New Ulm, and congratulations on the new trailer!
