The Willkommen Committee of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce is starting back up with more Willkommen Calls! Meeting new business owners, new managers, and checking out new work that’s been put in. Recently, they welcomed Tony Joseph with Knutson Construction as a new member of the New Ulm Chamber! Originally from Chicago, Tony has been with Knutson Construction for 6 years. He is the Project Development Director in the southwest region of Minnesota. Knutson Construction is a Minnesota based General Contractor & Construction Manager company turning 111 years old this year! It is owned by the Curry family and has 5 offices; their newest office is located in Mankato where they have been doing business for 20 years. Other office locations include Minneapolis & Rochester. Their work can be seen recently in New Ulm from the remodel of St. Paul’s Lutheran School. Knutson Construction is big into educational and medical work, as Mayo Clinic in Rochester is one of their big clients, as well as Allina. They are big into relationship building and problem solving, working closely with owners, developers and architects. They hire local companies for each of the majority of the projects they handle. Tony said Knutson Construction loves being a part of the New Ulm Chamber.
