The Willkommen Committee of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce visited Jessica Janni, Ashley Volk and Sarah Mertz at Bank Midwest to hear about their new roles at the bank! Jessica has been with Bank Midwest since 2008 when she started as a retail associate. Her new role is the Retail Operations Manager, working behind the scenes helping implement projects, changes to software for vendors that effect retail, helping with training and the day to day operations. Sarah Mertz is taking Jessica’s previous position as the Retail Manager in New Ulm. Ashley Volk, the newest part of the Bank Midwest team, is in the insurance department and is now the Commercial Lines Manager. She’s been in this new position just 2 months and is excited for the new role. Sarah is looking forward to hiring and training her replacement. Jessica and Sarah are looking forward to working with more of the Bank Midwest employees and customers at their other branches. There are currently 11 branches of Bank Midwest which is based out of Iowa. Locations include Spirit Lake, Okoboji, a Sioux Falls, SD location and Minnesota locations in Windom, Jackson & Sherburn, just to name a few.
