Chuck Bennis of Brookings, South Dakota, has been working on a mural on the side of the Nuvera building in downtown New Ulm, which is now completed! The project was inspired by the New Ulm Downtown Action Team, and was funded by: the EDA, Convention & Visitors Bureau, and the New Ulm Area Foundation of Heart of New Ulm. Stop by and check it out, take photos, and celebrate with us! Nuvera is hosting an event this Saturday with a plinko game with prizes, coloring sheets (with graphics from the mural) and crayons, and German Oktoberfest cookies (gingerbread) from the Backerei. The celebration will take place at Nuvera from 10AM-2PM on October 8th.
