We love biking and the outdoors here in New Ulm! Locals and tourists alike enjoy biking the 13-mile loop around the city (see map here), and just last year bike routes throughout the city were designated so people can easily get to local attractions, downtown, stores, and other areas that residents and tourists frequent (see that map here). Many local groups have been working hard to make New Ulm more bike-friendly, which is why we were so pleased to recently receive the Bronze Level Designation as a Bicycle Friendly Community by the League of American Bicyclists. So next time you visit New Ulm – bring your bike and get out and explore!
