New Ulm’s Oktoberfest has been receiving national attention!  Most recently, it was named the Best Fall Festival in Minnesota by Travel + Leisure!  What makes our Oktoberfest so great?  Well, we are the most German city in America – and that’s authenticity that other festivals don’t have!  Our German heritage is evident daily in New Ulm in our architecture, food, music, and culture throughout the city.  New Ulm is the home to August Schell Brewing Company, the second-oldest family-owned brewery in the US!  They have been brewing Greman craft beer here since 1860.  What better place to enjoy a German craft beer than at New Ulm’s Oktoberfest!  Our Oktoberfest takes place over 2 weekends at 4 locations.
