#OnlyinMN Monument in New Ulm!
#onlyinmn at Hermann Monument

New Ulm is honored to have the #OnlyinMN monument here at Hermann the German from now through October 21st!  Legend has it the #OnlyinMN monument was hand-carved by Paul Bunyan himself, whittled from ancient Minnesota hardwoods into the massive structures you see today. And though we’re not sure if the stories are true, we’re proud to say it’s never been easier to find your next #OnlyinMN destination. Literally. The vibrant blue 40-foot-wide monument is not to be missed. Always on the go, the #OnlyinMN monuments can usually be found at Minnesota attractions or events, but never for too long. Like you, they’re travelers.

From now through October 21, explorers can find the monument in New Ulm at the base of the Hermann Monument!  Pose with the sign and share your pics using hashtags #OnlyinMN, #GermansHaveMoreFun and #newulm.  More info about the sign can be found here: #OnlyinMN Monument.

#OnlyinMN at Hermann at NightThe sign is lit up at night too, so anytime is a good time to visit!  Want to climb the 99 steps to the top of Hermann?  You can, but note that Hermann is only open to climb on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am-7pm, weather permitting.  Check out the Oktoberfest festivities happening Oct 11-12 here: New Ulm Oktoberfest.  And find sample itineraries and more info about New Ulm’s other attractions here: Visit New Ulm.
