After all, we are the city of charm and are more than proud of our German-American heritage. Proof of that is our many German-inspired festivals that we celebrate every year! Three times a year, to be exact. However, when we aren’t celebrating, our German influence is shown throughout the city. From the Hermann the German statue, to the 45-foot, free-standing Glockenspiel that is one of the few carillons of it’s size in the world, to the unique architecture through-out our historic downtown and residential areas.
