Both the Thursday and Saturday markets will take place at 15 S Broadway, in the A to Zinnia Parking lot, and on the adjacent portion of 1st South Street. The highly-visible location features a public parking lot on site, as well as nearby on-street parking.

Vendor Registration

Now accepting registrations for the 2024 New Ulm Farmers Market! Please review the documents below, and return the Membership Application, Vendor Agreement, and ST19 to the Chamber at chamber@newulm.com or 1 N Minnesota St, New Ulm, MN 56073.

Food Trucks Welcome

We invite food trucks to join us at the Farmers Market! In the new location, food trucks will be placed in the A to Zinnia Parking lot, right along Broadway. Food trucks must be open for business during the hours of the market, but are welcome to operate outside of the posted market hours (aka: come early and/or stay late) to be able to serve over the lunch or dinner hours. Please complete the vendor registration forms above and, in addition, let the Chamber know which days and hours you plan to operate so we can plan accordingly.

Family Friendly

We would love to grow the market by adding family-friendly activities and live music, especially at the Saturday markets. Please reach out to chamber@newulm.com or 507-233-4300 if you would like to get involved! We will publish the list of activities planned each week here on this website (www.newulm.com/farmersmarket).

The New Ulm Farmers Market is affiliated with the Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP). Certain vendors will also be able to accept WIC and Snap/EBT soon. We are hoping this will be available by mid-July and will keep this page updated as we learn more.

Sponsors

We are accepting sponsors for the 2024 Farmers Market season now through June 14.

Butter Cream Soaps LLC
www.buttercreamsoaps.com

Butter Cream Soaps LLC was started in 2022 and will be attending the New Ulm Farmers Market for the first time this summer. We are located south of Sleepy Eye and make handmade soap and shampoo using farm fresh milk from our Holstein cows. The beneficial properties of the milk mixed with high quality oils creates bars of soap and shampoo that keep skin from drying out. The bars are scented with essential oils and fragrances to suite your preferences. Unscented is also available for those that may have skin irritations from fragrances. Stop by our booth this summer and make the switch from commercial bottles of soap and shampoo to a local product that your skin and hair will thank you for!

Cervantes Produce

We are happy to be a part of the community. We are gardeners who provide a southern je ne sais quoi. We make delicious homemade salsas, pickles, jams, pickled garlic, and beats. We grow fresh vegetables, raspberries, watermelons, and cantaloupe. Our main goal is to bring joy to your family.

egoclectionByKristen

My name is Kristen Gordon of egoclectionByKristen.  I have recently relocated from Minneapolis to Fairfax.  This will be my first year vending in this region of Minnesota after two years participating in a couple of markets in the Twin Cities.  My focus is on the unusual…savory jams, mustards, chutneys, marmalades, relishes, and other condiments.  My approach is to use as much locally grown produce as possible.  This ensures supporting other local producers and keeping a local focus.  In addition, I sell a limited variety of scones, crumpets, and some really great caramels.  My baked goods are produced with high-quality, small-milled flours right from Minnesota.  My business is cash or personal check only, except for allowable EBT purchases.  I do not have a website and no social media presence.  I look forward to meeting everybody face to face and establishing some new contacts.

Gertski Bees

We sell handmade, all natural, vegan soaps, lip balms, salves and shaving products with no synthetics. We also offer pure, raw, local Minnesota honey at harvest in September.

Green Roots Farm

Green Roots Farm is a sustainable, family-owned farm dedicated to producing high-quality, organically grown products. We specialize in a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, including heirloom tomatoes, leafy greens, and root vegetables. Additionally, the farm offers free-range eggs and chickens, artisanal honey, cut flowers, and other natural products.

Green Roots Farm holds a cottage license, allowing us to sell homemade food products directly to consumers, and is also a proud member of the MN Grown program, which supports and promotes locally grown products in Minnesota. The farm participates in the Farmer’s Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) for Minnesota, which provides coupons to low-income seniors and families enrolled in the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program. These coupons can be used to purchase fresh, locally grown fruits, vegetables, and herbs at participating farmers markets, ensuring access to nutritious food for those in need. Green Roots Farm is committed to eco-friendly farming practices, ensuring that all their products are not only delicious but also environmentally responsible.

Green Roots Farm also offers Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) options, allowing customers to subscribe to regular boxes of seasonal produce, providing a direct connection between the farm and the local community. Green Roots Farm is committed to eco-friendly farming practices, ensuring that all their products are not only delicious but also environmentally responsible.

We farrow to finish our 100% Berkshire hogs with plenty of mud, sunshine, and corn/soy/GMO free grains to give them the best and most comfortable life possible while they are with us.  Pure Berkshires are known for their outstanding flavor, juiciness, and tenderness, so we welcome you to give this pork a try for your next dinner.  We’ll have frozen roasts, ground, chops, side pork, bacon, steaks, tenderloin, ribs, and 6+ flavors of snack sticks available for purchase at the market or you can pre-order on our website and pick up your meat there.  We are branching out into offering 100% whole wheat bread this summer as well, made fresh in our farm kitchen.  Our children will also be a part of the farmers market with us this summer as they produce and sell their own homemade products…jewelry, dried dog treats, and more things to come!

Schaefer Sweets & Treats is where homemade goodness meets farmers market charm!  As a first-year vendor, we’re thrilled to bring you freshly baked delights crafted with love and care right from our home kitchen. From classic cookies to fluffy muffins (Saturdays only), artisan sourdough bread to delightful pastries, and even special treats for our furry friends, we have something for everyone, not to mention our jalapeno jams. We are also eager to offer custom orders for pick-up at the market, ensuring you get exactly what you crave. Catch us at most markets throughout the summer, though we might take a Saturday off now and then for softball games. We accept cash or Venmo only and are always open to suggestions for different sweet treats.

Sugar Shanty

Sugar Shanty will be entering its 6th year as a vendor at the Farmers Market, and we couldn’t be more excited about the new location!  From over 50 flavors of jams and jellies, to nearly 60 varieties of what we call “canned goods,” we take our homegrown produce a step further and strive to provide you with a delicious, ready to eat, finished product.  We pride ourselves in using the traditional “old fashioned” methods when canning our products, and are strong believers in that being the reason our customers keep coming back!  Alongside our amazing display of canned goods, you will find the staple of Sugar Shanty – our maple syrup.  As many of you know, the sap for our maple syrup is collected and cooked just outside of New Ulm, along the shores of the Minnesota River, at what was once known as Reim’s Camp.  As with our traditional canned goods, we also pride ourselves in carrying on the 80 year tradition of making maple syrup at Reim’s Camp and are confident, if you haven’t tried our syrup yet, you will be a customer for life, once you do!  On Saturdays, our oldest son, Kyzer, will also be selling lemonade, so be sure to swing by and support the 2nd generation of Sugar Shanty!

Woof’em Down Bakery
https://woofemdownbakery.com
507-995-6936 | woofemdownbakery23@gmail.com

Woof’em Down Bakery was created in the late winter, early spring of 2023. Our business is a combination of my love of baking and a love for dogs. We had a Yorkie-Poo, and later in his life, he developed renal issues. The food from the vet was so unappealing, as were any treats out on the market. We began researching ways to create healthy food and treats for him at home. With the natural ingredients used in our treats, including spent grains from Schell’s Brewery and honey from Gardner Bees, we created treats for all dogs with better flavor and healthier quality.

Hi, I’m Allie. The concept for Zeitgeist Gifting was born out of the idea that while the last few years have been difficult, it has been a beautiful catalyst for change and creation for many, myself included. I’ve discovered along the way so many wonderful makers in our community and wanted to bring together a collection of thoughtful, handmade products from earnest companies to showcase the best spirit of the times. These items have come together in themed gift boxes great for a wide variety of interests. Along the way, I also discovered a love for creating jewelry and accessories from polymer clay and a bit of an obsession with baking scones as well! I hope you (or whoever you are gifting them to) enjoy the end product. Thank you for being open to the unexpected.
